The Education program of Vision Development Organization, works to ensure that all school age children have access to quality education services. We are committed to improve this access particularly in remote areas through village schools (community-based education/CBE).VDO is supporting around 370 CBE classes in four districts of Badakhshan including Raghistan, Kohistan, Yawan, and Yaftal-e-Payan since 2023. Nearly 11,100 girls and boys are studying in CBE classes of VDO.

VDO provides teacher/students kits for CBE classes to support their education, and conduct training related to the guidebook in order to build the capacity of teachers and ensure that quality services are delivered. In order to take proper action, VDO conduct survey on impact of crises on education in Afghanistan to address the needs of students in education sector.All the enrolled students of CBE are providing with teaching materials to ensure they are equipped with their needed materials.
